Getting your first section in the water is the moment it all clicks. Literally. The whole system is built so one person can do it in an afternoon, without waders and without a crew. This guide walks you through it start to finish.

Before you start

Make sure you have the items below on hand.

  • A 1/2" wrench, for height adjustment
  • Your starter section, matched to your shoreline
  • Work gloves and closed-toe shoes
  • A helper for the very first section, optional but nice

Tip: Check your local water level before you begin. Setting your starter height for an average level means fewer adjustments as the season changes.

Step by step

  1. Attach the mount, or prep the starter frame. Position the mount so it sits square to the water, and fasten it to your seawall, post, or footing.
  2. Flip the first section in. Lift the frame and clip it to the mount, or position the starter frame to be flipped over.
  3. Adjust the legs. Use a 1/2" wrench to raise or lower each leg until the section sits at the height you want.
  4. Level it. Sections can angle up or down as they pivot on each other. Level across the frame, leg to leg.

I had the first three sections in before my coffee got cold. No crew, no getting wet.

How long should each section take?

These are first-time install times. Once you have done the first one, the rest go fast:

SectionTypical time
First, with leveling15 to 20 min
Each additional5 to 10 min
Removal or re-install, per sectionAbout 2 min

That is it. Clip in, flip in, level, and you are standing over open water. Add sections and accessories whenever you like; the system grows with you.
