As you install your brand new Pier of d'Nort pier, we want you to know your options to create a level surface.

The only tools you'll need are a reliable level, and a trusty wrench. Optionally, a ratchet strap can be used for its winch power.

The pier is too high

If your pier is resting too high, use the height adjuster on the closest leg to unlock the leg and lower it slightly.

The pier is too low

If your pier is resting too low, you have two options, both requiring some water involvement:

  • Place your foot on the footpad of the nearest leg. Then, lift/push the pier up while keeping the footpad on the ground.
  • Wrap a ratchet strap under the pier and attach (or hook) the end fitting to the top of the open leg. This will create a makeshift winch that allows you to ratchet the leg up with limited involvement beyond using the ratchet mechanism.
