First of all wow! The pier I purchased from you and you helped install last March on Lake Beulah in East Troy is fantastic. The pier did everything you advertised and looks as good as the first day we put it in. We took it out of the water last Saturday without getting wet and the only reason it took over an hour was that we marched the deck sections into the basement of the house for the winter.

Well…………I just completed the extraction process for my PODN.  It performed as described.  It took me 30 minutes of casual labor to get the 3 sections stored for the off season.  Last spring when I put it in for the first time, it also went as described.  Good design and execution of your product.

Just a quick note to say thanks. This dock is a charm to install and take down.  I put it up in the yard when I first got it to get the legs close to their heights and it took a bit of time to get organized but taking it down and installing in the river was surprisingly easy.  Everyone who saw it and used it over the past weekend were amazed at how sturdy it was , many thought it was a permanent structure (much to their surprise as I took it out of the water and had it stored up on shore in about 25 minutes).  Thanks again for your time.  I will be ordering additional sections in the near future.

The dock has worked out just perfect for us.  We have had a number of visitors who are very interested in it.  If anyone contacts you from our area and would like to see the dock, I would be more than happy to show them ours.
We have a double “L” now and would like to make a triple “L”, do you make a section that would fit between the two existing sections?  We would also like to lengthen the dock by two more sections, putting us at 64 feet… Thanks again for a great product, it is everything you advertise it to be.

The dock was delivered by the same fellow as the first dock and as it was then, all went great.  They delivered around 2:30 and the attached picture was taken at 4:30.  The entire in/out process is so simple it’s hard for people to believe it when I tell them.  I am 62 years old and have no problems handling the sections (cedar, the others might be more difficult).  There is a contracting crew doing work on our house and they were very impressed with the dock and how easy it is to handle.  I noticed you have changed from a thumb screw to a star handle for mounting screws.  I like the star handles much better and think it is a great improvement for tightening up the dove tails. (I would like to replace the 6 thumb type with star handles this fall)  I’ll contact you later in the summer for a cost.  I will put the check in tomorrows mail for the balance due.  Again, you have a great product and are wonderful to deal with.

This is year [sic] beginning of year 3 of owning your pier and I have to say it only gets easier to install. I dropped in my 6 foot wide, 30 foot long pier this past weekend.      3) legs fold up easily for compact storage

It’s been awhile since we have corresponded, but just this weekend I put my pier in and thought about how easy it is to install!!!  I have 5 pier sections and I had the complete pier installed in less than 45 minutes and without getting wet!  After installing my pier I called the guy who come and put my boat lift in.  After installing my lift one of started asking me about my pier and where I got it.   I told them all about it and you.  He thought it was really a neat system. Love the dock. It is absolutely sturdy even on  a mucky bottom. I didn’t pull it out until the weekend after Thanksgiving when a thin cover of ice was beginning to form. We stayed high and dry, just had to break up the ice around the legs and it pulled right out. it didn’t take very long either, probably 1/2 hour to 45 minutes at the most.

I just wanted to let you know that the pier we bought from you last year came out of our mucky lake bottom easily without my having to get in the water. This IS THE BEST dock system! Easy in, easy out. Works great and looks great! We got hit with a microburst in the first month. It blew the boat and knocked the whole dock off its legs, and over on its side. The composite deck panels floated, and were recovered. The dock was easily reinstalled, and nothing was damaged at all. (And we have 12′ legs on the end!) SO…Thanks again for a great design, and a really great product. I know that you read this personally, and I know that our compliments mean a lot to you.

…. I like my new pier. It arrived yesterday afternoon, that’s when I got busy. I pulled my old dock out, and unloaded the pallet. By 9pm I had a 6′ x 30′ level dock with internal legs and bumpers. I got the new pier all installed in the lake weekend before last & it went in great. It took me about four hours, only because being the first time I had to get the shore mount in place, & all the leg heights set & leveled. The one shorter leg for the last section where the “L” goes out that I called you about with the question was figured so close that it was level with the top of the tube, so I did not have to cut it at all. Next year it will be about half that time or less. All the neighbors came to check it out, & liked how I could put the whole pier in myself.It got a good test last Thursday. I have the pier deck set at 40″ above the water line, being that it is on Lake Winnebago. We had 40 mph winds & 5 foot waves coming in, & the pier stayed put as solid as a rock.

It was such a pleasure meeting you in person and dragging through the wee hours of Friday morning. I appreciate your efforts to deliver the dock no matter what. I hope you finally got a good sleep and returned safely to Wisconsin.On Saturday, I installed the first sections of the pier. What a pleasure it was to see a great engineering design at work. Everything went smoothly and the dock looks great. The bluff-mount legs turned out to be the perfect solution for my situation. To celebrate in the evening, we put bamboo torches in the legs.

Just wanted to drop you and your staff a note about the dock system.  Attached are the final results.  Let me start by saying that your dock system is everything you said it was and so much more!!!  I’m a mechanical engineer so when I purchase something I always look at it’s quality and it’s engineering.  I am very impressed with both!  I’ll start with the shipper……Conway was great!  We are down a dirt road and then a dirt driveway down toward the lake.  I figured this guy is going to kick the skids off the truck where the pavement ends.  I was TOTALLY wrong!!  I showed the driver where we wanted the skids and he backed down the steep driveway to exactly where we wanted them.  He did offer to drive all the way down to the lake shore but it would have meant getting my chain saw out to remove about a dozen 100 ft trees.  Of course it was raining just add to the drama of the delivery.  The driver was great.  I had all the tools that you recommended, so he just started cutting the bands himself.  It was just my wife and myself, but there really wasn’t anything that we could not handle.  We carried each piece about 50 yards to the site.  At one point we did have to stop because the rain got a little intense.  Everything was easy to understand so it went together quickly.  We started at 1:30 and completed everything except the latches under the AZEK sections by 5:30.  I did switch some of the legs around so that the legs at the very end of the dock would be much lower.  I put them on the end of the 6 X 6.        

 
I looked at everything as I put it together: the angle on the bottom “skids” of the legs (not too much but just enough), the profile of the extrusions when you mate the “adaptor” for the 6 X 6 to the side rails (very impressive design!), even the little detent the holds the brace on the legs that keeps them extended (the devil is in the detail but you got him here!), all the way to the quality of the welding.  
 
There are already requests from the CFO (Her name is PEG) to get another bumper and now it looks like a set of stairs down into the water would be “a nice thing to have”.  We would like a quote on the stairs and the bumper please.

YOUR PIER IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL- * * * * -PERFECT DESIGN EVER MADE WORLDWIDE!!!!!!!!!!! I have a spinal cord injury, and I was able to do the entire thing all myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You should be given the Nobel peace Prize for such a design, and you should license your patents to ALL the major pier manufacturers globally. I will take some pics once I have the decking on.BEAUTIFUL CARL!!!!!!!!!!!.
